The
Columbus Library Foundation has
played a special role in the lives
of thousands of Columbus residents
since it was established in 1900.
They remember the hours spent as
children attending story time
programs, doing homework
assignments, and meeting friends.
As adults, they remember the library
materials borrowed for pleasure
reading, the information they found
related to their business or
profession and the visits to the
library with their own children to
encourage them to read and use the
library.
The
Columbus Public Library has always
looked to special friends to help it
serve the next generation. A
gift to the Columbus Library
Foundation enables purchases to be
made which are beyond the resources
of the city government.
Contributions to the Foundation are
tax deductible. Bequests, gift
of securities and property and
memorials are especially welcome.
Please contact the Library Director
for more details.
